the police. Aside from this being a state law, internal damage to vehicles
is discovered later in 75% of accidents. Judgement on who is at fault is critical for insurance purposes. Without judgement, insurance companies may sometimes try and force unofficial 'sharing of the blame' - where they will only pay 90% of the cost, claiming the accident was "10% your fault". |
