WHAT IS COLOR SAND & BUFF?
During the process of refinishing, foreign particles in the air from the car, or the painter, make their way to the surface of the fresh paint. It is therefore necessary to remove what we refer to as 'nibs' from the paint surface. First, we wetsand the surface, followed by compounding the surface with a wool pad and buffer. Lastly, we polish the surface with a finer foam pad to remove any swirls and minor imperfections, leaving the newly painted panels restored to original specifications.

This procedure is an important part of the job, sometimes it is what makes the difference between a good job and a great job. Inquire if this procedure is being done on your vehicle.
